MORE than 100 Deeside skaters raised hundreds of pounds at their charity show.
Skaters from Deeside Ice Skating Club performed their annual spectacular Charity Ice Show recently at Deeside Leisure Centre.
The performances, over two nights and starring skaters as young as five-years-old, were a tribute to classic films, including Grease, Oliver and The Jungle Book.
More than 400 people were treated to some amazing performances each night, including solos from Molly Robotham and Beth Powell. Each show concluded with an emotional performance from skaters and their families.
This year’s chosen charity was Children with Cancer UK and more than £600 was raised over the two nights.
Club president Joanne Murray said: “It was another amazing weekend. We are very proud of all our talented young skaters for putting on such wonderful performances and for such a deserving cause.”
