Beam me up Scotty!..a cat with an out of this world name is looking for a special home.
William Catner, a one-year-old male black and white cat is currently living at Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre in Upper Colwyn Bay.
Like his namesake William Shatner, best known for playing Captain James T Kirk in Star Trek, Mr Catner is always looking for adventures and scrapes to get into so isn't suitable to be a indoor cat.
However, like the amorous Star Fleet captain, this cat also has an affectionate nature.
A spokesman for the centre said: "Mr Catner has had an unsettled start to life but he is now looking for a home to call his own. He is looking for a home in a farm/small holding or stable type environment as he has shown behavioural issues that would make it unsuitable for him to live in a normal household.
William Catner is full of character and has an affectionate nature. He is also a busy boy who loves to play and get up to mischeif!
Mr Catner would be happy to share his small holding with other animals and children.
