A LLANGOLLEN cafe has closed due to heavy snowfall.
The Ponderosa cafe shut at 1pm after the poor weather conditions and staff are urging people to only travel if necessary.
The car park is 'too dagnerous' and the roads are 'covered with snow'.
Amber Butler said: "Please only travel over the pass if essential we’ve had heavy snow fall over the last hour. The cafe will be closing 1pm today. Please take care."
Denbighshire Council has confirmed the Horseshoe Pass is closed.
A council spokesman added: "Due to the weather, Horseshoe Pass (the A542) is closed. Highways staff are working in the area to clear all routes as soon as possible. Please take care, and follow us for further updates."
