TWO Samaritans advice signs have been put up on either side of a Flintshire footbridge.
Sealand Community Council arranged for the signs to be placed on the footbridge near Ferry Lane that connects Saltney and Sealand over the River Dee.
The signs were provided by the Samaritans charity who provide emotional support to people who are in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide.

Similar signage is already up on the railway bridge in Shotton and on Flintshire’s blue bridge, as well as in other areas across the region.
But Flintshire County Councillor, Christine Jones, who is also a community councillor for Sealand, admits that it is something that was needed.
Cllr Jones said: “It is a sad thing that we have had to do, but if it saves a life then it will have been worth it.
“Samaritans kindly provided us with the signs, and we put them up in a spot where we believe they could be useful.
“Hopefully the signs make people see that there is always somebody there for them.”
