A MAN has been sent back to jail, shortly after being released, for breaching his licence conditions.

Kieran Goodwin, formerly of Welshpool, was put behind bars after admitting 32 offences, including sexual activity with a child and causing a child to watch an indecent act.

It is believed he was released from prison at the end of December.

Goodwin was sentenced to four years and three months in May 2018, when he was 19-years-old. It’s typical for prisoners to be released on licence halfway though a sentence.

A spokesperson from the Probation Service said: “Kieran Goodwin was recalled to prison on January 20, after breaching his licence conditions. Offenders on licence must comply with a strict set of conditions to protect the public - and if they don’t, they face going back to prison.”
