A MANCHESTER teen has admitted to having a knife in his sock.
Alan Junior McCabe, 18, of Honford Road of Wythenshawe, was sentenced to six months and ordered to serve two months consecutively for breaching the terms of the community order.
McCabe had been travelling in the Renault Clio with friends on January 14, when police signalled for the vehicle to stop.
The driver ignored the request and after a short pursuit.
It came to a stop on Foxes Drive in Sealand.
They all ran away, but McCabe was stopped and the black long handled kitchen knife found to be in his possession.
Rhian Jackson, prosecuting, told Mold Magistrates Court that although McCabe admitting being in possession of the blade, he denied it was his and refused to say who it belonged to.
Emma Simoes, defending, said McCabe was clearly no stranger to the courts and he accepted being in possession of the knife which meant an immediate sentence was likely.
