A WREXHAM sports and social club has installed a life-saving defibrillator which is available for all the community.
Gresford Colliery Sports and Social club has purchased the medical apparatus and installed it on the outside of the building - meaning it is accessible to all.
A training session on how to use the defibrillator is being held at the club on Monday, February 24 at 6.30pm - and all are welcome.
A spokesman for the club said: “Let’s hope that it’s never needed, but the club has purchased, and had installed a defibrillator.
“As the only community space within the village of Pandy we thought it was best to have the unit installed on the exterior of the club building - easily visible next to the function/community room entrance.
“This gives full access to the village and wider community should it ever be required via the ambulance service.”
