A COURSE to help children learn to ride their new bicycles after Christmas is being held in Deeside.
"Learn to Cycle" at Deeside Leisure Centre on Chester Road West, Queensferry, will take place on Thursday, January 2, between 1pm and 3pm.
The date has been picked as children will still be on holiday from school and may have had a new bike for Christmas.
The sessions are aimed at children aged four and up who are ready to learn to balance and pedal their bike without stabilisers.
Children are usually able to learn the basics in just one session.
Places must be booked in advance and the cost is £5 per child (Flintshire residents), £10 for those living outside the district.
The children will need to have their bike, with stabalisers removed, and a safety helmet helmet.
Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the lesson.
