STAFF at a Wrexham nursing home hosted a Christmas party for residents and their families

Singers from Bond Entertainment wowed their audience, which also included family members, and there was a visit from Santa.

Wrexham Mayor Cllr Rob Walsh also popped in to enjoy the festivities.

Joanne Irving, Emral's activities co-ordinator, said: "Everyone had a fantastic time and the entertainment was amazing.

"All the staff, even those on their days off, came in to help. The laundry staff, house keepers, carers, nurses and the kitchen team all work together to put on a fabulous party for the residents and their families every year and this year was no exception."

Emral House would like to thank those businesses who donated to the Christmas raffle to raise money for the residents' Activities Fund.

They were Vivid Flowers, QD, Wrexham Lager, Rhos Spar, Big Hand Brewing, Barn Boutique, Felin Puleston, Riverside Cafe, Mayfair Hair and Beauty Studio, CJ's Butcher's in Mold and Eyton Framers Karen Jones and Angela Gibson.
