HUNDREDS of Santa Claus lookalikes descended on Mold this weekend for the return of the town Santa Dash.
Last year, Mold Town Council's Santa Dash saw more than 350 runners don the iconic red suit and dash through the town. Now in its fifth year, the event did not disappoint.
The festive fun run took place on Sunday, December 8, through Mold town centre and, despite the cold and windy conditions, hundreds held onto their Father Christmas beards as they took on the 1.5-mile route that was suitable for all ages and abilities.
The Great Santa Warm Up began in the Daniel Owen Square before runners took off from Earl Road at 11am and powered down the high street in a sea of red.
Participants followed up Ruthin Road, turned onto Hendy Road and Clayton Road before making their way back to Earl Street via Bryn Garmon.
