A MAN has died following a collision in Flintshire, police have confirmed.
The Leader reported on Sunday evening how emergency services attended a serious collision on the A55 westbound near Northop.
North Wales Police urged motorists to find an alternative route while both the air ambulance and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service colleagues were at the scene.
However the force confirmed in the early hours of Monday morning that a man in his thirties died following the incident.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "His family have been informed. Sgt Raymond Williams appealing for any witnesses/dashcam footage around the Mold/Flint onslip at around 7pm."
