PROPOSALS for two new homes in Connah's Quay have been given the green light.
A planning application received by Flintshire Council proposed to build a pair of single-bedroom flats in Stone Row.
The authority has now confirmed the scheme has been approved by planning officers.
A report by the council's planning department explains: "Though there is no parking provision indicated on the plans, highway engineers have considered the proposal and raise no objection due to the sustainable location of the development.
"The proposed building sits comfortably to the end of Stone Row, backs onto Railway Terrace and fronts onto Cable Street.
"The design is consistent with surroundings and is therefore, considered acceptable in the streetscene."
