A DRIVER who flashed his lights at a police car to warn them of their own speed camera was arrested for drug driving.
North Wales Police's roads policing unit confirmed a male was stopped in Wrexham on Saturday night.
A spokesman explained: "He flashed his headlights at us to warn us about one of our Go Safe vans ahead.
"We thought we'd offer some friendly words of advice turned out he was a drug driver and tested positive for cannabis and cocaine. Big mistake."
The spokesman added the driver was subsequently arrested.
