PERMISSION has been granted to turn a former Caergwrle pub into a home.
A planning application lodged with Flintshire Council proposed to change the use of the Halfway Inn, in High Street, into a home.
Design and access documents explain the pub ceased operations in 2013, reopened in 2016 but then closed once again in 2017 as it was not considered “economically viable”, due to the “lack of patrons and custom.”
Flintshire Council has now confirmed the plans have been given the green light by planning officers.
