CROWDS enjoyed a spectacular fireworks display in Flintshire.
The Rhydymwyn and Hendre annual fireworks display took place on Saturday (November 2) and was joyous an occasion as ever.
A huge bonfire was lit before the breath-taking display followed soon after.
As well as the display, people enjoyed refreshments and hot food - with the event organised and managed solely by volunteers.
Organised displays, such as this, offer the safest way to enjoy the Bonfire Night celebrations.
A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “The best advice we can give is to attend an organised event rather than risking your safety by having your own bonfire or fireworks display.”
However, if you are planning to use fireworks or organise a bonfire at home, there are plenty of safety tips on the Fire and Rescue Service website – including sparkler safety, where and what fireworks to buy and a safe method of disposal.
