A PERSON was taken to hospital following a collision in Flintshire.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 5.05pm on Monday reporting a two-car collision on the A548 at Flint.
One fire crew from Flint attended the scene - as did teams from North Wales Police and the Welsh Ambulance Service.
Firefighters made both vehicles electrically safe and used extricating equipment to free one person who had become trapped.
A spokesman for the fire and rescue service told the Leader one casualty was taken to hospital and the incident was declared over at 6.16pm.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called yesterday (November 4) at approximately 4.55pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Manor Industrial Estate, Flint.
"We responded with one emergency ambulance and one patient was transported to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.”
