A DOGGY daycare business is holding a Halloween party which will also welcome your furry four-legged friends for an evening that will raise money for a cancer charity.

Four weeks after raising hundreds of pounds as part of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in September, Doggy Playtime are now hosting a more Spooktacular fundraiser.

Taking place between 5pm and 8pm at Lake Offa, Mold, guests can choose to take part in a hair-raising torch lit walk through the woods which will be filled with bats and scary props.

A full DJ system will also be in place providing live entertainment and music, while a range of foods, sweet treats and beverages will also be available.

Guy Carter, the event organiser and owner of Doggy Playtime, said: “Macmillan is a special charity to me and one that is close to many of those around me.

“Hopefully our Halloween party will be even better than the fantastic coffee morning that we held in September.

“Dogs are, of course, welcome but must be kept on their leads for health and safety reasons.

“We’re really hoping for a good response and looking forward to seeing members of the community for what will hopefully be a very enjoyable evening.

“And all being well, we intend to create this into an annual event which will get bigger and better with each year.”

All guests are being urged to turn up in their best costumes with a prize being awarded to the best dressed person after a raffle towards the end of the evening.

The ‘Spooky Fiesta’ is being held from 5pm to 8pm at Lake Offa on New Brighton Road in Mold, with admission costing £3 per person.
