NORTH Clwyd Animal Rescue is encouraging people to open their homes for furry companions.

KEP is a 12-year-old collie who came to the rescue after his owner sadly passed away. He did go to a new home, but was returned to the rescue after showing issues when having his feet and his stomach touched.

He is now looking for an owner who is willing to give him lots of time and space to settle in at this own speed and build up trust before trying new things with him.

He can be a little shy at first and needs a bit of time to get to know new people and come out of his shell, but once he knows you, he is really sweet. As he is a little older, Kep is looking for a quiet home where he can enjoy his retirement and relax.

He walks well on the lead and really does enjoy his walks, so is looking for a home with someone who has the time to take him to new places that he can explore at his own pace.

Kep has shown to be hit and miss with dogs, during his stay here. He usually meets them with a sniff, and then wants to move away and continue doing his own thing.

For this reason, we feel he would be better suited to a home as the only pet, where he can have all the fuss and attention to himself.

Kep is such a friendly, independent boy, who has captured the hearts of a lot of our volunteer dog walkers, and we hope he will not have to wait long for his new home to come along

MOFASA & CHARLIE are gorgeous seven-month-old boys who are looking for their forever home. They are very bonded so we are looking for a home where they can stay together. They are very loving and confident boys who love having lots of attention.

They love their food and would eat all day long if they could! They would love a home with a decent outdoor area, away from busy main roads, so that they can go out and explore once they have settled in.

They could be homed with sensible children aged six years+ who will respect their space whilst they settle in.

Overall Mofasa and Charlie will make amazing companions who will keep you entertained and make you laugh!
