NORTH Wales Police is appealing for information following a burglary in Flintshire.

Inspector Steve Owens, of the South Flintshire policing team, confirmed that the incident occurred in Padeswood, overnight on October 12-13, which is believed to be at the former Capricorn Animal Rescue Centre.

He said: "Unknown offenders have broken into the address at that location by the back window and have turned the taps on, causing damage to the building.

"It was temporarily an unoccupied property."
