AN EMPLOYEE at Aldi’s Wrexham store has received a long-service award after clocking up 25 years working for the supermarket.

To mark the occasion, celebrations were held for Store Assistant, Tracey Allibone at the Plas Coch Retail Park store, where she received a long-service certificate and a celebratory cake.

She has worked across three different stores during her 25 years with Aldi, including both stores in Wrexham and the Chester branch.

During that time, she has taken part in a range of fundraising activities to help the store raise money for Aldi’s dedicated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust, including a bake sale and sponsored walks, which raised a total of £1,500.

The Leader:

“I’ve had many proud moments during my career at Aldi, but my most memorable contributions were raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust, which is a great charity that we all work hard to support.

“I look forward to working alongside my team and customers for many more years to come.”

Lauren Gallagher, Area Manager at Aldi UK, said: “The hard work and dedication that Tracey and the team put into the Wrexham store is phenomenal.
