An extra date has been added for a magical Harry Potter dining and film event in Wrexham.

Disappointed witches and wizards who missed out on tickets for the 'one-night only' Harry Potters Hogwarts Extravaganza at St Giles' Church on October 25 now have the chance to experience the magic.

Organisers of the event, This Is Wrexham and Taste North East Wales, have added an extra date on Thursday, October 24, due to the high volume of demand.

Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, October 16 at 9am.

The Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Extravaganza Night event will be held at St Giles’ Parish Church at 6.30pm.

The Leader:

St Giles Church in Wrexham will be transformed into Hogwarts

Fans of the film series will be able to experience the magic as St Giles’ Church, which is the largest church in Wales, will transform into Hogwarts thanks to organisers This Is Wrexham and Taste North East Wales.

At the event, guests will be able to enjoy a butterbeer on arrival, before being seated in either Hufflepuff, Griffindor, Ravenclaw or Slytherin for the grand locally sourced buffet, which has been produced by Hafod Restaurant at Coleg Cambria.

Afterwards, guests will then be escorted to the movie hall to watch the third, Harry Potter film, The Prisoner of Azkaban, whilst in the majestic candlelit surroundings.

Fancy dress is recommended but is not essential.
