A FLINTSHIRE primary school has raised £300 for a cancer charity.
Ysgol Maes y Felin, in Holywell, achieved the total after holding a coffee morning as part of Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning last month.
The school council planned, co-ordinated and organised the event, from marketing via posters and social media, allocating jobs and serving families on the day.
The event saw several parents attend and staff members kindly donated cakes. Parents also enjoyed entertainment from some of the children singing the school's song.
