A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with car.
North Wales Police confirmed a call was received at 8.02am on Tuesday morning reporting a collision between a black Mercedes car and a pedestrian on the A541 near the Rhydymwyn Service Station.
An eyewitness told the Leader an ambulance had also been called to the scene.
Police confirmed the pedestrian was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital to be checked over.
