A FLINTSHIRE woman will launch an interactive workshop this World Mental Health Day.

Jane Bellis will launch a brand new Resilience and Wellbeing training delivery system, ‘Mindset Mojo’ at Theatr Clwyd on October 10.

Born off the back of community projects and events over the past four years running local Flintshire Community Interest Company, Art & Soul Tribe, Jane recognised the need for a training programme that could be integrated into workplaces, schools and community settings and delivered in an interactive, fun and engaging way.

She said: "With the current mental health crisis, we have an alarming number of services stretched way past capacity, a record high number of sick days relating to workplace stress, an increase in prescriptions for anti-depressants, especially for children, and a general feeling of overwhelm and low self-worth, it seems that we have reached breaking point and something has to give.

"Working on a blend of western neuroscience, eastern mindfulness and creative arts therapy, learners will find out how the mind and body connects, why emotional intelligence is vital for our resilience and wellbeing, how every day stressors affect us in the short and long term, a variety of coping strategies, values, vision and goal setting, SMART planning and building a practical resilience toolkit to take home.

"Mindset Mojo can be delivered as a full day intensive interactive workshop, ideal for businesses, school staff training and leadership and management development, or split into weekly sessions ideal for school PHSE sessions or after school clubs for students, or single workshop sessions which can be specially designed for specific events or integrated into other programmes."
