A FLINTSHIRE club has continued with their programme of placing lifesaving equipment in key locations.

The latest defibrillator, donated by the Flint Lions Club has been located at the Crown Inn, Lixwm.

Lions President Peter Leach, with Lion members, visited Lixwm to present the defibrillator to Tony Griffith, landlord of the Crown Inn.

The Lixwm Community Group made a presentation to the Lions of £440 towards the total cost of £1,400.

Lion Peter thanked the Group for their contribution and Landlord Tony for allowing the defibrillator to be placed at the Crown.

He added that this defibrillator is part of the present programme of presentations and it may never be needed but it is likely to be used sooner rather than later.

Eleven have now been fitted and it is hoped that another five will be placed during the next few months.
