A FLINTSHIRE primary school is hosting a fundraising evening of food, history talks and music.

The event is taking place at Southdown Primary School in Buckley and will chiefly involve an educational talk about the history of Buckley.

There will also be the Buckley Town Brass Band on hand for a performance, and a licensed bar and hot food will be available.

It will take place on Friday October 11 at 7pm at the school and is to raise funds to improve its outdoor learning spaces as part of a large project to enhance outdoor learning opportunities.

The evening will also include a raffle and a sports memorabilia auction.
