A CHARITY is looking for volunteers to help provide confidential information to clients.

Citizens Advice Flintshire is a charity providing advice and assistance on issues such as benefits, debt, employment, housing, discrimination and relationships.

It is starting a new group of volunteer trainee assessors on Wednesday October 9 to help provide free confidential information to clients.

Trainees are needed for the charity's Mold and Connah's Quay offices.

Assessors will carry out a short interview with a client to find out what the problem is and identify the next step to help the client resolve the problem.

No specific qualifications or experience are required as free training is provided for the role and travel expenses are paid. However Citizens Advice says volunteer assessors do need to be reliable, able to listen to people in a non-judgemental way, experience of using computers, and have good listening and communication skills.

If you are interested in applying you need to be available every Wednesday from October 9 to November 13, as well as coming in on a second day on some of the weeks during that period to shadow experienced assessors.
