A person has been hit by a train - leading to cancellation of services between Chester and Shrewsbury.
A British Transport Police spokesperson confirmed they had been called, along with paramedics, to the incident just before 4pm on Wednesday.
Several police cars, ambulances and an air ambulance have been seen in Chirk Bank, near Wrexham.
Transport for Wales said on social media: "Due to an incident between Chester and Shrewsbury, all lines are blocked.

"Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed.
"Disruption is expected until 6.30pm."
Bus replacement services are to be provided for rush-hour commuters.
A statement from National Rail says: "A person has been hit by a train between Wrexham General and Shrewsbury, blocking all lines.

Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed.
Disruption is expected until 18:30 18/09.
"As a result of this, trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.
"This is expected to continue until approximately 18.30pm."
Just after 6pm, National Rail added the railway line had been fully reopened, but passengers should continue to expect delays and possible cancellations.
