STUDENTS at a Flintshire high school have helped to develop the school's new website.

Connah's Quay High School is launching a new website, which has been developed by the school's student parliament and prefects.

As part of the school's modernisation programme, it has decided to invest in a new website which will better showcase the work its students do and what the school has on offer.

The students - with the aid of community partners at Coleg Cambria - have helped design a new school logo, mission statement and website.

Ann Peers, headteacher, said: "We felt it important to show off the excellent work that our learners do and the wide range of opportunities our staff offer.

"As well as sharing all the important details about exams and key dates etc. we will ensure that the new site continues to promote the values we hold so dear. With the support of our community, our vision is for every child to "create success" in a caring and nurturing environment.

"We hope that you will be pleased with the new platform and be a regular visitor to this web page!"
