THE TOUR of Britain will be arriving in North Wales later today.
As part of the fifth stage of the cycling event, riders will pass through the historic Port Sunlight and into Cheshire West and Chester, passing the Airbus UK manufacturing facility at Broughton.
The route will return to Wirral via Heswall, Caldy and Hoylake, before passing through the Birkenhead Park finish line and taking in a loop through Seacombe, Wallasey and New Brighton.
The riders are expected to pass through Saltney from about 12noon, before heading towards Holt.
Riders are expected to enter the Wrexham area, passing through Darland Lane and Gammett Lane, Rossett, from about 12.15pm before heading on towards Holt.
They will then head back across the border towards Farndon and head to the Wirral.
