A VARIETY of family activities are to be on offer at a forthcoming charity awareness and fundraising day.
Mold Alexandra Football Club is to host the event on October 11 in aid of mental health charity The Counselling Hub.
Run jointly by Cyfle Cymru and Delfryn Hospital, it will take place from 10am to 2pm and will feature a range of stalls, wellbeing activities, a tombola, bake and craft sales and more.
Robyn Bowden, of Cyfle Cymru, explained the event would also mark World Mental Health day, which takes place the day before on October 10, adding: "This is to raise awareness more than anything in the local community and to get people involved.
"It is for a very good cause - mental health affects us all."
She said there will also be a range of agencies with stalls and signposting information at the event - with activities and stalls also being run by participants and patients of Cyfle Cymru and Delfryn Hospital.
Paula Ringeval, founder of the Counselling Hub, said: "The charity warmly invites the general public to come along and support us in raising awareness as part of World Mental Health Day, the focus being on suicide prevention.
"The day is set to be lots of fun with sporting activities, stalls, tombola, cakes and more.
"I would like to thank Mold Alex FC, Cyfle Cymru and Delfryn Hospital and all of the other mental health organisations which will be in attendance to help us in our mission to raise awareness of mental health and provide affordable counselling and drop in services to our most vulnerable residents."
