A SOCIAL enterprise is ‘extremely proud’ to be in with a chance of securing more funding to develop the organisation.

RainbowBiz CIC has been shortlisted for two ‘prestigious’ awards which organisers say is a testament to how they have grown.

Sue Oliver, director, told the Leader: “We are extremely proud to have been shortlisted for these awards.

“It really does show how RainbowBiz has grown over the last four years and is a true testament to everyone who has been involved in the organisation during that time.”

The social enterprise has been shortlisted for awards both for the Steve Morgan Foundation and the Social Business Wales Awards for the Wales Social Enterprise of the Year category.

Sue added: “We have been able to tap into many areas of expertise for advice as and when required in order to further develop our organisation.

“It is essential that we continue develop our trading arm the RainbowBiz Hippy Shop in Mold, in order to sustain all of the community projects and events that our social enterprise delivers on a weekly basis.

“Being shortlisted for such prestigious Awards like these add great value to the work we do."
