A MAN was arrested after armed police were called out to an incident in Wrexham.
Cheshire and North Wales Alliance Armed Policing Unit confirmed yesterday that a call was received reporting a male having made threats in the Wrexham area whilst potentially in possession of a gun.
A spokesman for the team said: "Swift action by AFOs and Wrexham town response saw this male located and arrested."

A spokesman for North Wales Police confirmed officers were called at 8.22pm to Llys David Lord in Wrexham to reports of threatening behaviour.
A spokesman for the force added: "A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill. No weapon was found and no one was hurt."
