A RUBBISH blaze in Wrexham was caused deliberately, fire chiefs have confirmed.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call just before 11pm on Sunday reporting a blaze involving a quantity of rubbish in Vernon Street.
One crew from Wrexham attended the scene, but the blaze was out on their arrival.
A spokesman for the service said the incident caused a small amount of damage and the cause was confirmed to have been deliberate ignition.
