A MAN has denied assaulting a North Wales police officer who was trying to arrest him.
Appearing at Mold Crown Court today via video link from HMP Altcourse, Maredydd Francis, 25, of School Lane, Southsea, has denied the allegations of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Francis entered a plea of not guilty to the incident where the defendant is accused of grabbing PC Richard Priamo by the testicles and throwing him to the ground in School Lane on August 3.
Francis’ trial will take place at Caernarfon Crown Court and is due to begin on Monday, February 3.
