TREARDDUR Bay Bulls remain top of the early Gwynedd League standings after a 3-2 triumph at Ogwen Tigers.
The newly formed squad maintained their 100 per cent record to move eight points clear at the summit having played one game more than defending champions Menai Bridge Tigers and three more than Bangor 1876, who are nine points back in third.
The home side managed to take a slender lead into the break when Tom Eaves converted a chance on 36 minutes, but the Bulls upped the tempo in the second period and seized the initiative thanks to goals from Dave Webb and Gwynfor Owen on 54 and 63 respectively.
They were pegged back on 76 minutes through an own goal that looked to have given the hosts a share of the spoils, but Webb popped up to turn in his second of the afternoon two minutes from time to make it four from four on their travels.
Mark Godfrey and Darren Parry hit a hat-trick apiece for Llanystumdwy in their 7-2 rout at Llannerchymedd, with Andy Clarke producing a two-goal salvo for Bethesda Athletic in a 2-0 win at Bontnewydd.
Another impressive weekend winner was Talysarn Celts, who had efforts from Jac Jones, Rhodri Jones, Gwyn Thomas and Luke Baum (2) to thank for an eye-catching 5-3 victory at Glantraeth.
