A RECENT event for both dogs and humans at an Oswestry coffee shop raised a great sum of money for an animal charity.
Dogs and their owners were welcomed to the Heritage Coffee Shop in the Oswestry Visitor and Exhibition Centre for the Paws for Tea event.
The afternoon was held in aid of the Blue Cross Animal Charity.
With more than 30 dogs and 50 people in attendance, the coffee shop was able to raise a sum of £700 to donate to the charity.
The money was raised through the sale of refreshments including cake, and the sale of raffle tickets.
It was an enjoyable day for the dogs in attendance as they were able to enjoy snacks of their own with treats on offer.
Both customers and staff were able to spend time with the dogs in attendance, including Carol Roberts who runs the cafe with regular four-legged customer Loki.
