POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary in a 'quiet' area.
Overnight on August 14-15, a property in Pant Y Fawnog in Buckley was broken into and a laptop was stolen.
Inspector Steve Owens, of the South Flintshire policing team, told the Leader: "We received a call reporting that the front door to the property had been left unlocked.
"Someone has entered the property and stolen a laptop that was on the table in the lounge.
"It's unusual in that this is a quiet, residential area in a cul-de-sac which doesn't cause us many issues. It's usually quite a quiet area.
"A handbag was close to the laptop, containing a purse with cards and money but that has been left untouched.
"We are appealing for information from any witnesses who may have seen suspicious persons or behaviour or information surrounding anti-social behaviour."
The incident occurred between 11pm and 8.45am.
Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting ref 19100455075.
