WREXHAM Football Club will be holding a bucket collection next weekend to raise money for the family of a manager who died earlier this year.

Following the death of Leyton Orient manager Justin Edinburgh, which shocked the footballing world, all National League clubs decided that they would support the Justin Edinburgh Foundation ''JE3', which was set up by Justin’s family after his sad passing.

The Foundation will be looking to focus on raising awareness for brain and heart disease and promoting the use of defibrillators in health clubs and gyms.

Wrexham Football Club have agreed to hold a bucket collection at the home match with Barnet on Saturday August 24, and are looking for some volunteers to help out by shaking a 'bucket for the 'JE3' collection at the turnstiles.

A statement on the club website reads: “If you are available to help out, then please email volunteers@wst.org.uk for details of the meeting point and collection of buckets.

“There will also be buckets located in 'The Cent', Bamfords and the 1864 Suite, and Wrexham have thanked everyone in advance for any contributions, no matter how big or small as every pound raised will make a significant difference.”
