A LOCAL business is doing all it can to help the surrounding community.

Tracy Sankey-Jones, of Connah's Quay Funeralcare, said she is asking for donations of Flintshire school uniforms in a bid to help those in need.

She told the Leader: "A recent study has shown that Families can end up in debt over the cost of providing Uniform.

"That thought struck a cord with me so I started making some calls and before I knew it I had support from Radio Deeside’s Loose Ladies Lisa and Lynne and Flint Lyons Youth Ambassador Bradley Williams all wanting to help.

"Anything that we can do to help people in our community is really important to us all.

"I am looking for Flintshire School Uniform Donations from the people of Flintshire. Maybe items they don’t need anymore. It’s to help Families who maybe struggling to buy Uniform Items for September.

Items can be dropped off at Connah’s Quay Funeralcare and Ewloe Funeralcare
