UNIQUE family history sessions will take place in two Wrexham libraries in the coming weeks.

The sessions, which are free of charge, will firstly be held at Coedpoeth library on Friday, September 13th between 2.30 and 3.30pm.

A second session will then take place at Brynteg library a week later on Friday, September 20th between 2.15 and 3.30pm.

It is hoped that the sessions will help local people to learn more about their own family history.

Within the meetings at the two libraries, visitors will be able to create a family archive while also receive support in using the online tools and sources such as ‘Ancestry’ and ‘Findmypast’.

The sessions will also discuss what is available for people to use to help family research at the archives search room.

Sessions are free of charge, but people must be booked into a group meeting in advance.
