HOMES across Wrexham have been hit by power cuts on Monday morning.
The Pentre Gwyn, Hill Court, Kings Close and Cefndre areas have been affected, Scottish Power said.
Scottish Power said a fault in the overhead network has caused the cuts. Half of the homes affected had power back on within four minutes, but others are still waiting for power to return.
But Scottish Power said it is hoped that power will return by midday.
A spokesman said: "We received reports of power cuts in Wrexham at approximately 8am, affecting the Pentre Gwyn, Hill Court, Kings Close and Cefndre areas.
"Half the homes had power restored within four minutes, and most others have had power intermittently.
"We expect all homes' power to be restored by midday."
