WREXHAM Council have announced new roadworks set to begin later this month.
Smithfield Road, by Eagles Meadow, is set to be resurfaced with works starting on Monday, August 19 which should last for three weeks.
A statement on the council website reads: “The works will cause disruption during the day as the road will need to be closed in both directions from 8.30am to 5pm every day. Diversions will be in place.
“The road will remain accessible to residents and businesses only during the day.
“The road will be open in the evenings from around 5pm and businesses in the area will be unaffected.”
