VOLUNTEERS are needed for a clean up along a river in Flintshire this month.
A community litter pick is scheduled to take place along the Bovril Path to the banks of the River Alyn in Mold on July 27.
The event will run between 10am and 1pm and Mold Town Council is appealing for volunteers to take part.
The aim of the event is to clear up the waste
from recent floodingand make this important habitat plastic free again
Volunteers will be meeting at the side of Lidl, Denbigh Road, Mold CH7 1BL - opposite Love Lane car par.
All necessary equipment will be provided and all are welcome to take park.
Mold has started the fight in Flintshire against single-use plastics, with Buckley now following with the launch of its own plastic-free group.
