AN INVESTIGATION has been launched to confirm the cause of a vehicle blaze in Mold.

The Leader reported on Tuesday evening how the blaze caused the closure of the A5119 Ruthin Road near the junction of Bryn Coch Lane.

A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident, which involved a van, was reported just before 6pm.

One crew from Ruthin attended the scene and used a pair of hose reel jets, a set of breathing apparatus, hydraulic cutting equipment and small tools to tackle the flames.
