A HOLYWELL acting class will celebrate its success this month with a showcase of performances.

Seren Sandham-Davies and Thomas Casson began their acting classes for adults in their hometown almost one year ago, in a bid to bring the community together.

Mr Casson said since that first autumn evening, the class has grown in number, confidence, and enthusiasm. It encompasses all ages from people in their teens to their sixties.

The members of the class will be celebrating their success with a 'showcase' of improvisation, monologues, comedy sketches and drama scripts this July.

Mr Casson added: "I run an acting class that has gone strength to strength here in Holywell.

"Holywell Acting Classes invites everyone to come and enjoy the show and stay for coffee and cake. In doing so seeing what can happen when a group of people of various ages, backgrounds, and experience comes together.

"Not only learning and gaining confidence in a safe environment but having fun doing so. Perhaps when you have met the group and seen the enjoyment which drama can bring you might like to join yourself."

The performance will be held on July 18 at 8pm until 9pm at the Bethel Baptist Chapel, Pen y Ball Street.

Entry will be free of charge. More information can be found by contacting thomascasson@hotmail.com or the Facebook Page Holywell Adult Acting Classes
