POLICE are appealing for information following a ‘serious’ crash between a motorbike and a car in Broughton.
The accident occurred on the roundabout near to Airbus Broughton (A5104) at 3.15pm when a Lexmoto scooter and a white Peugeot 2008 collided.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are calling this a ‘serious’ incident as the motorcyclist was airlifted from the scene to hospital.
During the incident, traffic was diverted through Broughton village as the whole roundabout had been closed off as emergency services completed their investigation but has since reopened after several hours.
