PLANS for several new homes in Rhos have been unveiled.
A planning application received by Wrexham Council requests outline permission to build six new homes in Hill Street.
The plans state the site is currently in use as amenity space for another property.
A design and access statement explains: "Although not for consideration at this stage our client is proposing to construct the dwellings in a sympathetic manner to the surrounding properties.
"As part of the improvements proposed to the access point into the site, an existing outbuilding is to be demolished. "This detracts from the current street scene and wouldn't be a significant loss to the area as the building does not offer anything characteristically to the area." "Development of this parcel of land within the community will vastly improve on natural surveillance for the area.
"A residential development within the village location would be a welcomed addition to the area."
