A FUNDRAISING live music show and funday is being held in Wrexham in aid of charity.

The event is being held at Y Tai pub in Brymbo on Saturday and will feature four outdoor live bands and one indoors - in the form of Blind Pilots - in the evening.

The event, in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust and Cystic Fibrosis UK, will also feature inflatables, food - including a hog roast - and raffles.

There is even an opportunity for some paintballing courtesy of Marchbrook Paintball, in Marchwiel which is setting up an improvised tunnel with targets. dual charity The event starts at 1pm, and is free of charge, but donation buckets will be passed round.

Dave Johnson, chief organiser of the event, said: "I just a want to give something to those who are in a position by way of giving others a great day.

"We have chosen this year to raise funds for another incredible cause. No child or family should face these circumstances. Please join us and help us contribute to making a difference however you can.

"Last year the event raised over £2000 for Prostate Cancer proving what a success it has been.

"Bring everyone and help us make it another brilliant day.".
