A FREE rock music festival on the grounds of a 13th Century castle in Flintshire returns this weekend.
Rock the Castle returns for a second year on Saturday and promises to bring the week-long Flint Festival to a barnstorming close.
Building on the success of last year, the event will see a whopping 17 local rock bands take to the stage at Flint Castle.
The first band - Hawker - will kick off proceedings at 1.30pm, before headliners Jacflash provide the climax to the event at 9.30pm.
Following Jacflash will be a dazzling fireworks display at 10.30pm.
A fully licensed bar will be open and food will be available throughout the day.
There is no charge but people are welcome to make a donation, with a suggested donation of £2 available to be made on the gate.
